REVOLVE Fellow awarded the Department for Transport T-TRIG 2017 grant

Dr. Carolina Mateo-Segura has been awarded the Department for Transport T-TRIG 2017 grant which provides seed funding to early-stage technology innovations that have the potential to advance the UK’s transport system. “The project aims to exploit our breakthrough in antenna technology providing a high-performance electrically steerable Flat Panel Antenna (FPA) solution. This technology will release new SOTM markets and position the UK at the forefront of building a better rail system.” said Dr. Mateo-Segura. The project, which kick-off in March 2018 and will run until September 2018, will allow the team to develop a full technical demonstrator of a standalone Ku-band antenna with scanning capability in elevation.
