Infinect, prospective Heriot-Watt spin-out funded by the High Growth Spin-Out Programme run by Scottish Enterprise. This program supports academics to spin out their research and become entrepreneurs, funding only those projects with potential to achieve a £5 million turnover within five years. Dr. Carolina Mateo-Segura, who leads the technical team, said “Infinect’s technology will enable new markets for high data rate satellite communications using proprietary flat antenna”.
