PhD candidate Mr. Cristian Alistarh, jointly supervised by Dr. Symon Podilchak, Prof George Goussetis and Prof. John Thompson (The University of Edinburgh), reached the first place in the student paper competition at the International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics (ANTEM) 2018 for his paper “Spectral Smoothing by Multiple Radar Pattern Multiplication for Improved Accuracy.” This work was carried out in collaboration with Samsung Electronics.Congratulations to Cristian! The first place prize was well deserved!
